Dr. ShivaKumar Swamy S is an experienced radiologist specialising in oncologic imaging and cancer diagnosis. He serves as the Head and Director of the Radiology Department at HCG Cancer Centre and has extensive experience in advanced imaging techniques used for cancer detection, staging, treatment planning and follow-up.

His expertise includes MRI, PET/CT imaging and other advanced radiological techniques that help physicians accurately evaluate different types of cancers. His clinical interests include body cancer imaging, head and neck cancer imaging, neuro-oncology, musculoskeletal oncology and interventional oncology.

Dr. ShivaKumar has received the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) from the European Board of Radiology and has completed a Masters in Oncologic Imaging from the University of Pisa, Italy. He has also undertaken international training in transarterial chemoembolisation at Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea.

In addition to clinical imaging, he is involved in interventional radiology, radiomics, artificial intelligence in radiology and imaging informatics. His work supports multidisciplinary cancer teams by providing detailed imaging assessments for diagnosis, treatment planning and monitoring treatment response.
