He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Thrissur, Kerala, followed by an MD in Pediatrics from Lala Lajpat Rai Government Medical College, Meerut. He subsequently completed a two-year Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru.

Dr. Gaur has extensive experience in managing pediatric chronic kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, glomerular diseases, acute kidney injury, kidney stones, urinary tract infections and congenital kidney and urinary tract abnormalities.
