Dr. Ajoy S M is a Consultant in the Department of Orthopaedics at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore. He holds MBBS, D (Ortho), DNB (Ortho), MNAMS (Ortho), PGDHHM and PGDMLE qualifications.

Dr. Ajoy S M completed his MBBS and Post Graduate Diploma in Orthopaedics from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and subsequently completed his DNB from the National Board of Examinations.

He has undergone advanced training and fellowships in Adult Reconstruction, Foot and Ankle Surgery and Orthopaedic Trauma. His training includes experience at NUH Singapore, the Ministry of Health in Oman, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United States.

Dr. Ajoy S M has a special interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery. His areas of clinical expertise include heel pain management, flat foot correction, correction of foot and ankle deformities, complex trauma surgery and arthroscopy of the foot and ankle.

He has also completed a Diploma in Tissue Banking from the University of Barcelona and has been associated with the Ramaiah Tissue Bank as its Coordinator and Quality Control Officer since its inception in 2012.

Dr. Ajoy S M has been a faculty member for numerous regional, national and international orthopaedic courses. He has delivered more than 200 presentations and has been involved in organizing several foot and ankle cadaver-based courses.

With more than 25 years of professional experience, Dr. Ajoy S M has performed over 10,000 surgeries, including corrective procedures for complex orthopaedic conditions referred from across India and abroad.
