Dr. Harish K is the Director of the Ramaiah Institute of Oncosciences and HOD & Senior Consultant in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore.

Dr. Harish K completed his MBBS, MS and M.Ch in Surgical Oncology. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Surgeons of India (FAIS), Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (FICS), Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) and Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS).

He is an alumnus of the prestigious Cancer Institute, Adyar, where he completed his M.Ch in Surgical Oncology in 1995. He subsequently started the Department of Surgical Oncology at Ramaiah Medical College & Hospitals in 1996 and has played a major role in its continued development.

With more than 30 years of experience in surgical oncology, Dr. Harish K has extensive experience in the surgical management of cancer and complex oncological conditions. His practice focuses on appropriate surgical treatment and comprehensive cancer care.

Dr. Harish K has contributed extensively to academic medicine and has published more than 60 articles in national and international journals. He has also served as an Associate Editor of the Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology for many years.

Dr. Harish K is a professional member of organizations including the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO) and the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI).
