Dr. Aravind S. Kapali is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology at M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. He has 11 years and 3 months of professional experience in surgical oncology.

Dr. Aravind S. Kapali completed his MBBS from VIMS, Bellary, followed by MS in General Surgery from KMC, Chennai. He subsequently completed his M.Ch in Surgical Oncology from the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, in 2015 and also cleared his DNB in Surgical Oncology in 2016.

He completed his MRCS in 2008 and served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Surgical Oncology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, from 2009 to 2012.

Dr. Aravind S. Kapali's clinical interests include the surgical management of various cancers, with particular academic and clinical experience in head and neck cancers, colorectal cancers, breast malignancies and complex oncological conditions.

He has contributed to numerous national and international journal publications and has presented research at national and international oncology conferences. His published work includes research relating to colorectal cancer, oral squamous cell carcinoma, breast sarcoma, gallbladder carcinoma and other rare malignancies.

He has also been associated with the Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology as an assistant to associate editor. His professional memberships include the Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, ISPSM and the Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology.

Dr. Aravind S. Kapali was conferred the European Board of Surgery qualification in Surgical Oncology in 2017 and is also a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
