Dr. Ashwin Giridhar completed his MBBS followed by postgraduate training in General Surgery and advanced super-speciality training in Genitourinary Surgery and Urology. He also holds DrNB training in Urology and additional professional qualifications including FMAS, FURS and FAGE.
He pursued dedicated fellowship training in Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad, where he developed advanced expertise in minimally invasive and robotic techniques for complex urological cancers.
Dr. Ashwin Giridhar is trained and certified as a console surgeon on both the da Vinci Surgical System and the HUGO RAS robotic platform. According to HCG, he has independently performed more than 65 robotic procedures and assisted in more than 200 robotic surgical cases.
