She completed her MBBS from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, followed by a Diploma in Medical Radiotherapy from Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar, Chennai, and DNB in Radiation Oncology from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
