Dr. Rasmi Palassery is a Consultant Medical Oncologist specializing in pediatric cancers, blood disorders and bone marrow transplantation. She has 9 years of experience and holds qualifications including MBBS, MD in Pediatrics and a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She is also American Board of Pediatrics Certified.

Dr. Rasmi completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Thrissur, Kerala. She subsequently completed a three-year residency in Pediatrics at Texas Tech University, Amarillo, USA, where she also served as Chief Resident.

She completed a three-year fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Cleveland, USA. During her fellowship, she developed expertise in the treatment of pediatric cancers, benign blood disorders, stem cell transplantation and clinical research trials.

Her clinical interests include malignancies and benign blood disorders in children and young adults. She is trained in performing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for malignant conditions, benign blood disorders and immunodeficiencies.

Dr. Rasmi is also involved in research, with particular interests in epidemiological studies and quality improvement projects focused on adolescent and young adult cancer patients. She has presented research at international scientific meetings and has co-authored articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Her professional achievements include the ASH Global Capacity-Building Showcase financial support award in 2019 and the UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital Fellowship Research Award Program in 2014.
