Dr. Pooja Prakash Prabhu – Consultant Nephrologist in Bengaluru

Dr. Pooja Prakash Prabhu is a Consultant in the Department of Nephrology at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bengaluru. She holds an MD in General Medicine and specialized training in Nephrology.

Dr. Pooja completed her MBBS from J.S.S Medical College, Mysore in 2010. She subsequently completed her MD in General Medicine from St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru, where she trained from 2013 to 2016.

She worked as a resident in the Department of Nephrology at St. John's Medical College before completing her nephrology training at Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru from 2017 to 2020. She currently practices as a Consultant in the Department of Nephrology at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Pooja has a keen interest in nephrology academics and research. She has participated in oral and poster presentations at various conferences and is pursuing the ISN-ANIO Basic Nephron-Pathology Fellowship Programme.

She is also actively involved in medical education, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and participating in and conducting continuing medical education programmes and medical quizzes.

Dr. Pooja has received four Gold Medals in MBBS from RGUHS in 2012 and was recognized as the Best Outgoing MBBS Student of her batch. She is also a member of the International Society of Nephrology.
