Dr. Gireesh M. S. is the HOD and Consultant in the Department of Nephrology at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bengaluru. He holds an MD in General Medicine and DM in Nephrology.

Dr. Gireesh completed his MBBS from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, followed by MD in General Medicine from Bangalore Medical College and DM in Nephrology from IKDRC-ITS, BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad.

He has been associated with Ramaiah Medical College since 2010 and has extensive clinical experience in the evaluation and management of kidney diseases. His areas of clinical interest include acute kidney injury, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension and kidney transplantation.

Dr. Gireesh is actively involved in academic activities and has presented research papers at international conferences and published articles in national and international medical journals. He has also delivered invited lectures and chaired scientific sessions at various medical events.

He currently serves as a member of the Executive Council of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation and has been associated with several professional organizations in nephrology and medicine.
