Dr. Ashwin Giridhar is a Consultant Urologist, Uro-Oncologist and Transplant Surgeon with extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of a wide range of urological conditions.

He completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, followed by MS in General Surgery from Medical College Kottayam. He subsequently completed his MCh in Genitourinary Surgery (Urology) and DrNB in Urology.

Dr. Giridhar has completed fellowship training in Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Hyderabad. He has also completed a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery and holds FAGE certification.

His clinical expertise includes uro-oncology, robotic and laparoscopic urological surgery, renal transplantation, laser surgery for kidney stones and prostate conditions, endourology and reconstructive urology.

He also provides surgical care for selected urological cancers, urinary stone disease, prostate disorders and patients requiring renal transplantation. His approach emphasizes accurate diagnosis, minimally invasive treatment where appropriate and individualized patient care.

Dr. Giridhar has performed and assisted in a wide range of open, laparoscopic and robotic urological procedures. His reconstructive urology experience includes procedures such as urethroplasty, while his female urology practice includes procedures such as TOT and VVF repair.
