Dr. Jyothi G S is a Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru. She has 30 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been associated with the institution since 1996.

Dr. Jyothi G S completed her MBBS from Bangalore University in 1988 and MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Karnataka University in 1995. She has also completed PGDMLE from NLSIU, Bangalore.

Her major areas of clinical interest include high-risk pregnancy and preventive oncology. She has extensive experience in managing complex pregnancy-related conditions and is actively involved in women's health and preventive healthcare.

Dr. Jyothi has undergone additional training in basic ultrasound and Doppler, colposcopy and endoscopy. She completed specialized colposcopy training through the Indian Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and has been actively involved in cervical cancer prevention and screening initiatives.

She has participated in and contributed to numerous national and international conferences, CMEs, workshops and research programs. She has served as an investigator and co-investigator for several national and international clinical trials.

Dr. Jyothi has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications, book chapters and educational materials. She has also contributed to books covering difficult gynecological surgery, obstetric care, preventive oncology, HPV vaccination, menopause and other women's health topics.

She has been actively involved in cervical cancer prevention, HPV vaccination and screening programs, including large-scale public health initiatives. She has also served as a faculty member, trainer, reviewer, academic guide and speaker at various professional programs.

Dr. Jyothi is a life member of several professional organizations, including FOGSI, IMA, the Indian Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the Association of Gynae Oncologists of India and the Indian Menopausal Society.
