Dr. Jagadeesh Krishnamurthy is a Consultant in Surgical Gastroenterology and Multi-Organ Transplantation in Bangalore. He has more than 11 years of experience in complex gastrointestinal, hepatopancreatobiliary and transplant surgery.

He completed his MBBS from Bengaluru Medical College and Research Institute and MS in General Surgery from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Multi-Organ Transplantation at the University of Miami, USA, covering kidney, liver, pancreas and intestine transplantation.

Dr. Jagadeesh Krishnamurthy is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Da Vinci Xi certified robotic surgeon. His surgical practice includes liver transplantation, HPB surgery, gastrointestinal surgery and advanced robotic and minimally invasive procedures.

His clinical interests include living donor and deceased donor liver transplantation, paediatric liver transplantation and ABO-incompatible liver transplantation. He also performs complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic procedures including liver resections, Whipple procedures and surgery for pancreatic and gallbladder cancers.

Dr. Krishnamurthy has been involved in more than 2,000 liver transplants, 1,000 kidney transplantations and over 1,000 HPB surgeries. His experience also includes robotic liver and pancreatic resections, robotic colorectal surgery and laparoscopic donor hepatectomy.
