Dr. Harshavardhan Rao B is a Professor, HOD and Senior Consultant in Medical Gastroenterology. He holds an MD and DM in Gastroenterology and has advanced clinical expertise in gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr. Harshavardhan Rao completed his DM in Gastroenterology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. He subsequently completed a one-year fellowship in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy, further strengthening his expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures.

He has also received specialized training in Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) from Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as training in bariatric endoscopy at leading institutes in India.

His areas of expertise include endotherapy and management of hepatobiliary disorders, pancreatic disorders, bariatric endoscopy, endoscopic management of gastrointestinal oncology and endoscopic management of post-liver-transplant complications.

Dr. Harshavardhan Rao has a strong interest in research and is a renowned academician. He has been invited to universities abroad to deliver lectures and present his research in the field of endoscopy.
