Dr. Vijay C L is a Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon. He completed his MBBS from JSS Medical College, Mysore, and pursued his Masters in General Surgery at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He worked as a Senior Resident in General Surgery at AIIMS, New Delhi, and in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bengaluru.

He underwent Super Specialty training in Thoracic Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and cleared his DrNB in Thoracic Surgery with a Gold Medal. Dr. Vijay C L was trained in Advanced VATS surgery at Shanghai Chest Hospital, China, and later worked as an Associate Consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for a year.

For the last 7 years, Dr. Vijay C L served as a Consultant in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Narayana Hrudayalaya (NH), Bengaluru, where he established a state-of-the-art Minimally Invasive Thoracic Unit with all advanced VATS and Robotic surgery facilities. He was also an integral part of the Lung Transplant Team at NH, with over 5 years of experience
