Dr. Shabnam Shashidhar is the Lead Consultant in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Sparsh Multispeciality Hospital, Infantry Road. She has completed her MBBS from LTMGH Sion Hospital, Mumbai and her post graduation from Seth GSMC and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. She continued in KEM hospital as an Assistant Professor while simultaneously completing her DNB from the National Board of Examinations. With a special interest in Critical Care Medicine, she pursued the IDCCM from Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai under the guidance of Dr F Udwadia, the doyen of critical care in India. Wanting to understand international benchmarks in critical care medicine, she went on to complete the European Diploma in Critical Care Medicine from Zurich in 2013. She strongly believes a holistic multidisciplinary approach with efficient empathetic communication results in the best outcomes.
