(Prof.) Dr. Linu Abraham Jacob is a highly accomplished Medical Oncologist with over 20 years of experience in the field of cancer care. He has an outstanding academic record with Fellowships from Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA and Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh. He is also a Fellow of the American Cancer Society University (ACSU) and the Union International for Cancer Control (UICC).

He has held many senior academic roles in various medical institutions of the country like Medical College Trivandrum, Medical College Calicut and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology Bangalore. As Professor & Head of Medical Oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology Bangalore. Dr. Jacob has contributed significantly to patient care, clinical research, and education.

He pioneered initiatives like setting up bone marrow transplant unit and improving chemotherapy facilities, benefiting large number of underprivileged patients. He has guided and mentored many students, lead many multinational clinical trials and co-authored over 200 publications. He is an editorial board member and peer reviewer to many academic journals and is the author and host of the “Chemolighthouse” mobile app on play store – a quick reference guide for chemotherapy protocols. Dr. Jacob’s dedication to improving oncology care won him a Certificate of recognition from the Govt of Karnataka on the occasion of the National Doctor’s Day in 2022.
